David Hammons\, Glenn Ligon\, Lorna Simpson\, Henry Taylor\, Kara Walker\, and Nari Ward are among the established practitioners represented in this show\, while Jordan Casteel\, Jonathan Lyndon Chase\, LaToya Ruby Frazier\, Paul Mpagi Sepuya\, and Vaughn Spann number among the younger artists who are included. This exhibition also highlights an extensive range of media\, including oil\, acrylic\, coffee\, staples\, embroidery floss\, basketball cards\, oil stick\, Plastilina\, glitter\, colored pencil\, velvet\, and feathers. \n$15

DESCRIPTION:The Burrow presents “Stories and Blues” at 9:00 pm\, featuring South Miami blues musician\, storyteller\, and author Uncle Scotchy alongside guitarist Harold Trucco. \nUncle Scotchy combines original blues music with personal stories and material inspired by his 2024 book\, “The Book of Scotchy.” He is joined by Trucco\, a Berklee-trained guitarist\, for a performance combining live music and storytelling. \nDoors open at 8:00 pm\, and the performance begins at 9:00 pm. Seating is assigned on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and guests may be asked to share tables. The ticket price will be deducted from each guest’s tab. \n$65 – $75
