PAMM Art Storytime invites little ones and their families to explore how everyday objects can spark imagination and big feelings. Inspired by Woody De Othello’s coming forth by day, the program includes a read-along, hands-on sensory play, and a clay-inspired art activity.

Set in 1999 Miami, this coming-of-age story follows an 11-year-old Cuban-American boy navigating family, identity, and belonging as buried tensions surface during a night of crisis. Opening night on Friday, February 6 kicks off with a retro, Miami-inspired preshow party featuring throwback DJ sets, classic Cuban bites for purchase from The Cuban Guys, and a photo-worthy moment.
Caribbean Cultural Night at PAMM celebrates the art and sounds of the Caribbean with live music by Pressure Point on the waterfront terrace, plus a special 7pm program inside the museum exploring Caribbean art, culture, and community.
Heritage Fest at the Arsht returns for a full day of free, family-friendly fun celebrating Pan-African culture. Enjoy live performances, local food vendors, and interactive activities throughout the afternoon, then keep the energy going with an 18+ Juke Joint party in the evening. The evening features Ben Beal, bringing his smooth mix of jazz, pop, and soul to the stage from 6:00–6:45pm, followed by Cachita Lopez, who lights up the night from 7:00–8:45pm with a vibrant, bilingual blend of Latin jazz, traditional Cuban rhythms, disco, freestyle, and timeless classics.
Join master nail artist Kro Vargas, HistoryMiami’s artist-in-residence, for an intimate nail art workshop exploring techniques like one-stroke florals. Held at Spring with Friends Salon, this hands-on session blends culture and creativity in a small-group setting. Space is limited and registration is required.
Noche de Arte at Gallery 100 takes over InterContinental Miami every Monday from 6–8pm, transforming the space into a weekly arts activation that connects artists and audiences through conversation and community. February’s Artist in Residence is Zion Rozier, a Miami-born visual artist whose vibrant, symbolic work explores healing, resilience, and gratitude through faith and art.
PAMM Free Second Saturdays celebrates creativity and storytelling with a day inspired by Woody De Othello: coming forth by day and Black History Month. Families can enjoy hands-on art activities, traditional African dance and drumming by Delou Africa, Inc., and a family-friendly poetry activation from BIPOC Poetry Night led by Brianna Clara all centered on identity, imagination, and transforming the everyday into something extraordinary.
