The Serving the Arts Awards Ceremony made a highly anticipated return in 2024 after a 16-year hiatus, celebrating over 30 arts leaders and cultural champions in Miami-Dade’s thriving creative ecosystem. Presented in partnership with the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs, this annual event honors outstanding contributions in Lifetime Achievement, Arts & Accessibility, Cultural Catalysts, Legacy in the Arts, Corporate Support, Arts Professionals, and the distinguished Serving the Arts Award.

This year also marked a historic milestone with the unveiling of the inaugural class of the Miami-Dade County Arts Hall of Fame. In recognition of all that has been achieved, we honored legendary individuals and trailblazers whose relentless dedication has shaped our community. We are proud to spotlight the Arts Heroes and Cultural Gladiators whose transformative contributions have tirelessly shaped the vibrant, diverse cultural foundation of Miami-Dade County.

Since its resurgence, the Serving the Arts Awards has welcomed over 1,000 attendees, with the most recent ceremony bringing together 500+ of Miami’s leading arts advocates, business leaders, and creatives to celebrate those shaping our region’s $2.1 billion arts and culture industry.  With featured custom designed awards by talented local artists every year, highlighting the intersection of visual arts and cultural excellence.
