Experience the music of RENT in a powerful symphonic performance featuring a stellar ensemble of vocalists and musicians. Jonathan Larson’s iconic, Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning musical follows a group of young artists navigating love, creativity, and survival in New York’s East Village during the height of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Featuring beloved songs like “Seasons of Love,” “La Vie Bohème,” and “Take Me or Leave Me,” this reimagined concert brings new life to a groundbreaking story about friendship, resilience, and living for today.
Sculpture Without Sight is a unique immersive experience that invites you to explore your sense of touch by sculpting blindfolded. Clay here is just a tool, this is not a pottery workshop. By removing visual input and relying solely on the sense of touch, guided by curated music and aromatherapy, the process encourages deeper presence, intuition, and connection with your intuition.
In this sensory experience, you’ll sculpt clay while blindfolded. Allowing your hands and not your eyes, to lead the creative process. Our space enhances your senses through curated playlists and aromatherapy. The result is a powerful shift in perception, where the focus moves from how something looks to how it feels.
Minaya’s work brings together bold patterns, rich textures, and cultural references. Her vibrant compositions encourage reflection on how pattern and environment shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.
In partnership with Miami Kids Magazine, families can also enjoy games, prizes, and special giveaways. During this free, family-friendly program, visitors of all ages are invited to create their own artworks inspired by Minaya’s practice. Using color, repetition, and imaginative patternmaking, participants can explore personal expression and tell stories about their identities and communities. The day also includes a docent-led tour of Shadows and Traces: Selections from PAMM’s Collection, offering deeper insight into Minaya’s work.
Join in for an afternoon of art-making, interactive experiences, and discovery as you celebrate women artists and the power of creative expression.
