    In the shadow of Miami’s downtown skyline within one of the most marginalized and dangerous neighborhoods in America, the Marshall L. Davis Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center became an unlikely engine of excellence through what began as an after-school program – and grew into one of the most innovative arts education models in the United States. 

    Filmed across America over three years and relaying a story that spans five decades, this documentary follows Davis, his devoted staff, and the young people whose lives were transformed within the center’s walls.

    You’ve never experienced sound and music quite like this before! At the captivating crossroads of wellness and music lies The RESET—an invitation to journey beyond the traditional concert experience, into a space of profound transformation and healing. Created and performed by renowned singer and sound healing artist, Davin Youngs, this immersive take on a “sound bath” will elevate your mind, body and spirit.

    Davin masterfully weaves a tapestry of sound using improvisational singing, looping devices, crystal-singing bowls, tuning forks, and other overtone-emitting instruments. Layer upon improvised layer will guide you through a sonic landscape into the far reaches of your mind. What sets The RESET apart is the integration of electronic beats, seamlessly intertwined with the emergence of music that mirrors the unique beauty of your inner world.

  • With & Without: A Coral Story – Earth Day Special Presentation

    Explores what life can and will look like without coral reefs. Told through the words of leading scientists, the film examines Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease.

    From its controversial origins in 2014 to the present day, scientists are still working to understand what this disease is and how to stop it. At the heart of the issue is human impact. Without significant changes to everyday life and corporate cooperation, we risk losing one of the most important animals on Earth—coral.

  • The Light of the World: Artist Talk

    In Dialogue at Saladrigas Gallery: Dr. Carol Damian and Dr. Adriana Herrera invites guests to join curators Dr. Carol Damian and Dr. Adriana Herrera for a special evening conversation on The Light of the World, a Christ-centered exhibition exploring the depiction of Jesus Christ across centuries and cultures. During this program, the curators will discuss the exhibition’s catalyst, development, and curatorial vision, offering deeper insight into the ideas, research, and selection process behind the works on view.

    On view from March 12 through May 6, 2026, The Light of the World brings together paintings, sculptures, and drawings from the 16th century to today, including Russian icons, Renaissance works, paintings from the Cuzco School, late 19th- and early 20th-century Latin American art, and contemporary works by local and international artists. Through this dialogue, visitors will gain a richer understanding of how the exhibition came together and how artists across time and place have interpreted the life and image of Jesus Christ.

    This event takes place at the Olga M. and Carlos A. Saladrigas Gallery at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, extending the exhibition experience through conversation, reflection, and curatorial perspective.

    Join Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator (DVCAI) for Back-Chat: What’s in Your Container?, a quarterly online conversation exploring the experiences of diasporic cultural producers, scholars, and artists who have benefited from DVCAI’s programs and support since 1996.

    As DVCAI celebrates 30 years of nurturing and amplifying artists from the Caribbean and Latin American Diaspora, this special session offers space for dialogue, reflection, and connection across community, culture, and contemporary art.

    This session features artists Breeana Thorne, Jevon Brown, Lance Minto-Strouse and Myah Smith.

    Back-Chat invites community members, artists, and arts supporters into a thoughtful virtual gathering centered on creative exchange and shared experience.
