Kiki’s Delivery Service for Family Day

Join Coral Gables Arts Cinema for  a screening of Kiki's Delivery Service.

It's a tradition for all young witches to leave their families on the night of a full moon and set out into the wide world to learn their craft. When that night comes for Kiki, she embarks on her life journey with her chatty black cat, Jiji, landing the next morning in a sea-side village, where a bakery owner hires her to make deliveries. The resourceful young witch uses her broom for the delivery service, only to lose her gift of flight in a moment of self-doubt.

PAMM Free Second Saturdays: Celebrating Women in Art

Minaya’s work brings together bold patterns, rich textures, and cultural references. Her vibrant compositions encourage reflection on how pattern and environment shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.

In partnership with Miami Kids Magazine, families can also enjoy games, prizes, and special giveaways. During this free, family-friendly program, visitors of all ages are invited to create their own artworks inspired by Minaya’s practice. Using color, repetition, and imaginative patternmaking, participants can explore personal expression and tell stories about their identities and communities. The day also includes a docent-led tour of Shadows and Traces: Selections from PAMM’s Collection, offering deeper insight into Minaya’s work.

Join in for an afternoon of art-making, interactive experiences, and discovery as you celebrate women artists and the power of creative expression.
