Gables Cinema will screen “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” (1958), directed by Richard Brooks and based on Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play. The story follows a married couple navigating personal and family tensions during a gathering at the Pollitt family estate. Burl Ives, Jack Carson, and Judith Anderson also star.
The Frost Chopin Academy & Festival presents “Stars of the Academy,” an annual concert featuring some of the program’s youngest participants. The performance highlights emerging pianists through a program dedicated entirely to the music of Frédéric Chopin.
